Heather D. BennettA Los Angeles- ‐based attorney with a practice in Intellectual
Property litigation and licensing representing innovators and artists of visual, music, and literary works both in the United States and abroad. In addition to trial experience in Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of the United States District Courts of California and the United States Court of Appeal, Federal Circuit in Washington D.C., Heather is a
passion- ‐project documentary filmmaker herself and enjoys working with other documentary filmmakers with development, clearance (including Fair Use analyses),
production, and distribution. She is multi- ‐lingual (speaks Italian, French and Spanish), has a BA in History and French
from Baylor University, a certificate d'études françaises from the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne), and a JD from
McGeorge School of Law with concentrations in International and Intellectual Property law.
