BADMINTON WARM UP a.-)General warm up: ·Activation: Cardiovascular activity: Jogging ·Articular movement: “swimming”, rotate the shoulders outside and inside, move the legs outside and inside, take two steps and jump with both arms up, in groups of five pass the birdie, by hitting it, to other person of the group. ·Stretching: quadriceps, calf muscle, aductor, dorsal, biceps, triceps, shoulder, neck. b.-)Specific warm up: ·CATCH-CATCH (WITH A BALL): this game consists of one person who has to catch the other by touching them with a ball and he/she can throw it to catch someone. When the ball hits someone, this person has to sit down on the floor. To save the people who are sitting down they have to take the ball, and if that person wants to save other people that are sitting down, he/she has to pass it to these people. ·MATAO: this game consists of two people that are in different places but in front of each other and the rest of the people between them. One person on one of the sides has a ball and he/she has to eliminate the people in the middle by throwing the ball to them and the other person too. EXERCISES WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF PASSES 1.-(Group of 4, 2 against 2) In all the pracrices at first you must do one of the services. After the service you will continue doing the backhand stroke till the teacher says to change to the forehand, upper arm or under arm stroke. If you see that you can do a smash or a drop, you can do it. 2.-(Group of 4, 2 against 2) All the people who are on one side of the net will be there during the whole exercise. The other people will change to play with others classmates when the teacher says to change. During the play, to put in practise all the things taught by the teacher, you can do all types of strokes you want, like a free game doing all the things taught. High service: Short service:
