Bad language is damn language. It is language deals with strong, rude and unacceptable words that unreasonable to say

TABOO LANGUAGE

• A taboo is a strong social prohibition (or ban) relating to any area of human activity or social custom that is sacred and or forbidden based on moral judgment, religious beliefs and or scientific consensus. Breaking the taboo is usually considered objectionable or abhorrent by society.

WHY DO PEOPLE USE TABOO LANGUAGE ?

• When it is not socially acceptable to use a word in everyday situations, the words become more powerful.

• Teenagers use taboo words to sound cool and rebel against authority.

• Some people use taboo words in heated arguments.

• Men sometimes use taboo words to bond with other men.

SWEARING OR CURSING

• Swearing is a way of speaking that some people use to express their feelings of anger, annoyance and frustration, or when they want to hurt someone else’s feeling.

• Refer to something that is taboo and stigmatized in the culture.

• Should not be interpreted literally.• Can be used to express strong emotions and

attitude.

WHY DO PEOPLE USE SWEARING ?

• People swear when they are upset, annoyed, hurt, or just to show off.

• They have learned to use these words because they are used in their family or among their friends, and they haven't really thought about whether using these words is okay.

• They haven't learnt other more interesting words they could use.

• Some kids may not know that swearing is offensive, rude and upsetting to others.

VULGARISM

Generally, these are expressions that are crude, raw, and from off the streets. Vulgar language is used to debase or devalue the thing or individual referred to or described.

• Expletives and words which are of an abusive character.

• Vulgarism are often used in conversation out of habit, without any told of what they mean.

• Vulgarism is used to refer a definite group of word of non standard language.

• Vulgarism depends on where we work.

• Lovers may use taboo sexual words to stimulate passion.

• Trying to prove that they are old enough to speak.

• It reflexes immaturity and lack of self control more than anything else.

• It has now become socially acceptable.
