Western Volusia County, the Jewel ofthe Central Florida East Coast

Nestled between the hustle and bustle of Orlandocity life and Daytona’s busy boardwalk is an areaof culture, winding tree lined roads and natural
springs. Western Volusia County is where the locals go torelax, unwind and take in some of the very best of what theCentral Florida’s East Coast has to offer. DeLand, the biggest city in Volusia County has never lostits small town charm and appeal. Deltona is one of the fastest growing cities in Western Vo-lusia and is rich in culture, with year round festivals andcultural celebrations. Lyonia Preserve is a large scrub habi-tat that the endangered Scrub Jay and a growing popula-tion of Scrub Turtles call home. The Deltona Arts &Historical Center boasts a recording studio, DeltonaRecords, and an art gallery and coffee house for aspiringartists and more.
Orange City, best known for Blue Springs State Park, is thewinter home of hundreds of manatees who flock theirevery winter in search of the warming springs. Orange Cityis also a favorite among families for its Movies in the Park,and many parades and festivals.
DeBary, on the north shore of the St. John’s River is thehome of Gemini Springs Park, the Florida Museum of Art,the African American Museum of Art and DeBary Hall,which is rich in history and family fun. Go for an airboatride, play a round of golf or take in an exhibit.
