• Rivera is an extremely strong atheist.• His mural Dreams of a Sunday in the

Alameda depicted Ignacio Ramírez holding a sign which read, "God does not exist“

• This was banned until the inscriptions were removed.

• HE WAS VERY FAMOUS FOR CREATING POST-IMPRESSIONISTIC FIGURES.

• IN 1917 AFTER WITNESSES CUBISM, RIVERA’S PAINTING GETS POPULAR AND IS POSTED IN MANY EXHIBITION AND MUSEUMS.

DEATH• Rivera was diagnosed with cancer in 1955, he

went to soviet union to get treatment.• In 1956 he returns to Mexico to recuperate at

a friends house.• 1957, November 4, Diego Rivera passes away

through a heart failure.
