Background Recently, more individuals are engaging to pet shop businesses. Basically, a pet store or pet shop is a retail business which sells different kinds of animals to the public. A variety of animal supplies and pet accessories are also sold in pet shops. The products sold include: food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, cat litter, cages and aquariums. Some pet stores provide engraving services for pet tags, which have the owner’s contact information in case the pet gets lost. The Pineda’s Home of Sweet Puppies was established recently last June 2014. Starting only with one Shih Tzu and a Miniature Schnauzer Mr. & Mrs. Pineda obtained the idea of breeding dogs due to their fancy and desires for dogs. Located at Brgy. Bugtong na Pulo, Lipa City, Batangas, the owners started its operation with goals of earning profit and at the same time developing depth understanding in relation to the matter. The newly established business garnered attention from prospective buyers. The newly born puppies would be sold together with complete documents certifying ownership and legal rights. Additional costs were accumulated from processing and settling of the latter as well as complete vaccination. Current status

From here, the owners will have to wait three months until the puppies are born. Since the business has newly begun, the capital invested is still in cycle. From one Shih Tzu and a Miniature Schnauzer, cross-breeding results to four puppies. In addition, the owners acquire Pug and Chow-Chow.

The owners are looking forward to service and product expansion in passage of time. Examples of such are provisions of service like grooming, vaccination and studding. Moreover, additions and installations in facilities. They are also going to cater day care center services.
