Central Bucks School District has dedicated time over the last year preparing teachers to effectively use the Math in Focus
resources to meet the needs of all students.
3 full day trainings with Central Bucks’ Math Supervisor and Math Coaches

One District, One BookBuilding Community through Shared Reading Experience
What is One District, One Book?• Every student, grades 3-6, read the
same book over the month of October.
• Every student gets a copy of the book to keep!
• Every faculty member who works with students in grades 3-6 gets a copy of the book to keep!
• Everyone reads the assigned pages (approximately 11 pages/15 minutes a night).
• Share in the story with the readers in your community!
When all students read one book…
• Children develop a positive understanding of themselves and others.
• Friendships develop.
• Children advocate for each other.
• Children engage in meaningful discussions.
• Community and culture improve!
