The BEd Programin Aboriginal Adult Education
• Beginning January 2011, Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre will be hosting the Ontario Aboriginal Adult Education Course being offered by Brock University.
• The Ontario Aboriginal Adult Education course is designed for individuals from the Aboriginal Community or people who would like to work within the community, and wishing to obtain their certification in teaching.
The BEd Programin Aboriginal Adult Education
• The course will be offered at Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre (439 Dundas Street East) bi-weekly on Fridays from 6-9PM and Saturdays from 9AM – 4:30PM.

The BEd Programin Aboriginal Adult Education
Program Features:
• Advanced standing for existing Native institute diplomas, university degrees and college diplomas.• Community-based education; study in your own community on a part
time basis.• Courses developed in co-operation with top Aboriginal and
mainstream educators throughout Turtle Island.• Trained Aboriginal Facilitators who will work with you and your fellow
learners throughout the program.• Culturally specific support• A degree that is recognized by our communities as well as the
mainstream.• This program does not lead to an Ontario Teachers Qualification.
The BEd Programin Aboriginal Adult Education
• Each course costs $1,050.00
• full course costs $5,250.00
• Completion of Course leads to certification or Bachelor of Education designation if student already has a Degree.
