Bernat Pipsqueak requires you to feel the stitches as you crochet. The hardest part is the beginning chain for this but once you get by it and establish the first row, the rest is pretty easy to follow.

This design was inspired by the Waffle Scrubbing Dishcloth by Yarnspirations.

Instructions

To change the sizing, this is in multiples of 4+1.

Ch 89.

1st row: (WS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 1 dc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 87 dc.

2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 dcfp around next st. 1 dcbp around each of next 3 sts. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dcfp around next st. 1 dc in last st. Turn.

3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 dcbp around next st. 1 dc in each of next 3 sts. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dcbp around next dc. 1 dc in last dc. Turn.

Rep last 2 rows of Waffle Pat until work from beg measures 32”.

Fasten off.
