Scan N’Cut BOM Celebrate the year by counting down each month in this adorable themed mini quilt. In class, you will learn how to cut the appliqué pieces on the Scan N’Cut and embroider them to create these calendar quilts. In addition, Leni will demonstrate how to create the appliqués using the Craft N’Cut Software. You can even create the appliqués using a standard machine. Beginning Adult Sewing Classes Sewing is Fun & Therapeutic! Join us in these beginning sewing classes! These classes are designed for those beginner sewers that would like to learn the basics. You will learn how to use a rotary cutter, mat and ruler. You will also learn how to read and understand patterns. Come make a project that will help you explore the basic functions of sewing.

Greased Lightning Table Runner This charming table runner can be made with a holiday in mind or just for fun. It is approximately 15” x 60” when finished so it will fit a table quite nicely with plenty of room to see the design. So if you have some strips leftover from a strip club now would be a good time to use them. For a more structured look, you can use the Poppies Collection from Hoffman Fabrics. Magic Fat Quarter Table Runner This lovely table runner can be made with 6 fat quarters of your choice. My sample uses a blue and white floral which determined the other colors in the runner. Although it looks complicated, the pattern is well written and goes together quickly. Instructor: Diane Miller FEE: $40 Tues, June 13 (1:30p—5:30p)

Twister Tote You might have made wall hangings and quilts using the Lil’ Twister Tool, now how about using it to make a tote bag. With a little planning and some color blocking you can have a one of a kind bag. It has inside pockets and a snap closure if you desire. Instructor: Ellen Kruer FEE: $45 Fri, June 16 (10a - 2p)

Stunning Strips This bright and happy quilt starts with a jelly roll of your choosing. My sample is the lap size made with a Poppy . If you want to make it larger you will need a 40 strip jelly roll. This also works well as a two color quilt featuring your favorite color. Binding 101 This hands on class will teach you how to put on traditional binding and how to join the two ends so they can’t tell where you started and stopped. We’ll also learn wrap-from-the-back mitered corner bindings. This class will even tackle the scary scalloped edge bindings using bias binding! You will learn a quick easy way to make bias binding with the bias binding rulers. We will also explore “facing bindings” which is used on art quilts. Lastly, but not least, we’ll look at ways to bind your quilts with prairie points or scallops. Instructor: Pam Overton FEE: $40 Fri, June 9 (10a - 2p) Layer It with Craft N’ Cut Software! Do you want to use your software to create layered vinyl? Well this class is for you. We will use the software to create our file for your Scan N’Cut. We will then cut out the vinyl and apply it to our cup using a layering technique. This is a great class if you have ever thought about taking a step towards using your software and Scan N’Cut to create something that you can sell or make great custom gifts! Un—Boxing Your Scan N’Cut Let’s get that Scan N’Cut out of the box and explore some of the fun things we can do with it! In this class we will use the draw function to create our own fabric, use the cut function to cut fabric for appliqué and to create a template for the placement of crystals. This machine is so fun and versatile and this class will get your feet wet in exploring the possibilities of this fabulous machine!
