Read TogetherChoose a Bible storybook. Read with your child. Say that we can learn more about God by reading Bible stories and the Bible. Remind your child that Samuel grew and learned. State to your

child: “I hope that as you grow, you will

learn more and more about God

at church and at home.”

Explore a BibleSit down with your child and a Bible. Allow her to explore the pages. Talk about the Old Testament and New Testament. Say that Samuel went to church to learn and he learned at home. Tell your child your favorite Bible story or Bible Verse. Pray that God will help your child continue to grow and learn.

Make a Photo AlbumYour child is growing every day! Take pictures of your child. Get the pictures printed. Put the pictures in a small photo album. Let your baby hold and look at the album so she (and you) can see how much she has grown!

While Samuel was at the tent church, he learned from his teacher, Eli. Each day Eli told Samuel about God. Eli helped Samuel know that God made him and loved him. Eli told Samuel to listen to the words God said. Samuel learned that what God said was important.

God helped Samuel grow and learn.
