Babe Ruth (1895-1948) - American baseball player. One of the most famous baseball players in the history of sport. His career began in 1914, when he was playing for 'Baltimore' International League as a pitcher. Later changed the team and moved to the "Boston Red Socks."

In the period from 1920 to 1935 he successfully performed in the American League for the "New York Yankees".

As a player Babe Ruth showed an outstanding versatility. He could have the same luster and be an excellent pitcher and tireless batter (batter) and cunning and quirky fielder (fielder).

Ruth hit equally well by both the left and right hands, but especially he managed to perform blows to the left. He set a record in the 714 Home-wounds, which lasted until 1974.

The most notable achievement - 1927 - 60 "home runs" for the season. The total number of "home runs" in his career is the second result in the world - 714.
