Perkenalkan nama saya Valensa Yosephi. Saya mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan
Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran UNDIP. Untuk mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Kedokteran, salah satu
syarat yang ditetapkan kepada saya adalah menyusun sebuah penelitian. Penelitian yang saya
lakukan berjudul “Perbedaan Kuantitas DNA yang Diekstrak dari Akar Rambut Berbagai Fase
Pertumbuhan.”
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbedaan kuantitas DNA yang
diekstrak dari akar rambut berbagai fase pertumbuhan. Dalam penelitian ini saya akan
memerlukan sampel rambut kepala manusia. Untuk itu saya minta kesediaan Saudara untuk
menjadi relawan pada penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel rambut dilakukan dengan penyisiran
rambut untuk mendapatkan helaian rambut rontok dan pencabutan rambut untuk mendapatkan
total 70 helai rambut yang akan diperiksa di bawah mikroskop. Saudara yang bersedia diminta
untuk mencuci rambut dengan air mengalir tanpa sabun pembersih rambut atau sampo sebelum
pengambilan sampel rambut. Pencabutan rambut dilakukan dengan teknik steril menggunakan
pinset, sarung tangan, masker steril. Pencabutan dilakukan dengan hati-hati dan dengan teknik
yang tepat untuk meminimalkan risiko tidak nyaman saat pencabutan.
Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan informasi mengenai perbedaan
kuantitas DNA yang diekstrak dari akar rambut berbagai fase pertumbuhan dan memberikan
data mengenai kisaran kuantitas DNA yang dapat diekstrak dari akar rambut dalam fase anagen,
katagen, dan telogen. Bagi laboratorium forensik, hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai
pertimbangan apabila akan dilakukan pemeriksaan identifikasi DNA dari sampel rambut dan
sebagai landasan bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk lebih mendalami dan menyempurnakan
pemahaman mengenai identifikasi DNA dari sampel rambut. Saya mohon kesediaan Anda
