At Prague College School of Business we believe in the creative power of teaching and learning. That means small group seminars, not impersonal lectures; and continuous feedback, not just grades. We believe in learning by experience, for instance by bringing employers from our extensive Industry Network directly into the classroom.

Our academic team have excellent credentials, long-term teaching and training backgrounds and outstanding experience in their disciplines. As professional educators they bring a deep understanding of business to all areas of their teaching, including management, marketing, accounting, human resources, business ethics, CSR and finance.

Our business students enjoy working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment, sharing and swapping ideas with budding designers, artists, computer programmers and journalists. And because we have programmes for professionals and working students, classes often include small business owners and entrepreneurs too.

Prague College School of Business generates top-quality academic research on global business problems and has a real-world impact on business practice and education. Our graduates are special to us: curious, questioning, connected, flexible, and passionate about what they do.

Ion Sturzu | MSc International Management graduate | Moldova

I heard about Prague College and its scholarship scheme on the web. I came here with a good deal of work experience including a nine-month internship with PwC and a wide range of volunteer work. The Prague Collegescholarship was awarded partly as result of my experience in social engagement. It’s going really well - in fact it’s everything I expected, and more. Not only is there a cosmopolitan atmosphere (which I like very much) but also you get to hear differing viewpoints from many different cultures.

Lenka Budínová | BA (Hons) International Finance and Business Accounting student | Czech

I’ve always wanted an international education: Prague College was the perfect solution, allowing me to study in a friendly, international environment while staying in the Czech Republic. I chose the accounting course since I’ve always enjoyed maths, but wanted to take it further. The most important benefit so far has been my English proficiency, which I was able to develop very quickly. As well as this I have improved many practical skills, including presentation, teamwork, responsibility, written expression, and interview technique - not just my memory!

Prague College hosts a regular interdisciplinary lecture series that brings together the interests of all our specific subject areas in the context of wide-ranging and broad academic enquiry.

CRIS is the shared platform designed to bring together the common research and development needs of the college in the areas of business, finance, computing, media, art and design.

CRIS is responsible for issuing an academic bulletin, selected articles from which are also published by the De Gruyter academic publishing network, as well as in Econpapers, the world’s largest collection of online Economics working papers.

Conferences run by CRIS have included ‘Shared Values’ — focusing on the interrelated areas of strategy, finance, CSR, and business ethics; ‘Differing Accents’ — an international typographic and lettering conference; and ‘Secret of Ciphers’ — a hugely successful series of seminars and workshops on cryptography.

The college’s own Research Centre promotes active participation in the interdisciplinary fields of business, finance, computing, design, fine art and creative media.
