CAMP CORY SUMMER EMPLOYMENTCamp Cory boasts a group of extremely dedicated full-time and seasonal staff. Many of our staff members attended camp as campers and we are thrilled that over 70% of our staff return each summer. In addition to three reference checks, Camp Cory completes a rigorous criminal background check on every staff member prior to being offered employment. We select qualified men and women to be counselors who demonstrate a deep sense of commitment and moral character, and who can be strong, positive influences in the lives of our campers. Children are impressionable, and it is imperative that we employ staff members who can make a positive impression on our campers through personal example and leadership in the cabin, in the activities and throughout camp. Senior Counselors – Senior Counselor serves as a mentor to the overnight and day campers. They are responsible for camper safety and fun in cabins as well as activity areas. Counselors live at camp in cabins with kids from ages 7 to 16 when in overnight camp, and care for campers in our day camp program from ages 5-13. Counselors make $190 a week with additional compensation for appropriate certifications and bonuses for students past their sophomore year of college. Compensation includes room and board. Counselors are required to work from June 19th-August 22nd. Previous childcare experience required. Sailing Master - Sailing Master runs day to day operations of sailing program. This includes management and implementation of the sailing curriculum, safety of campers and the maintenance of boats. Housing available on site. Current certification in Waterfront Lifeguarding, Standard First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer required; certifications must be valid/current throughout the duration of your seasonal employment before the first day of staff training. Must have current Public Vessel Operator license. Sailing Master is required to work from June 14th – August 22nd and must be at least 21 years of age. Previous sailing experience required. Salary is $225 a week (negotiable) and includes room and board.Office Assistant - Office Assistant coordinates camp’s logistical needs including, but not limited to: camp trips, store supervision and maintenance, and assisting in check in/check out procedures. Candidates over 21 with clean driving record strongly preferred. Must keep the store in good working order with regular cleaning and inventory and answer phone calls in a professional manner and answer any parent questions. Must assist the Executive Director and Camp Director in any of camp’s administrative needs. Required to work from June 19th – August 22nd. Salary is $185 a week (negotiable) and includes room and board.Camp Nanny - Responsible for the health, safety, fun, and all other aspects of staff and alumni children at camp. Required to work from June 1st to August 22nd, with flexibility during the summer months. Previous childcare experience required. c. Vacation outside of the county or area of residence; or

d. Detention or confinement to jail after conviction for an of-fense other than a felony.

An absentee ballot must reach the office of the District Clerk/designee not later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the aforementioned special meet-ing.

A list of all persons to whom absentee ballots have been is-sued shall be maintained by the District Clerk/designee and made available for public in-spection.
