GOP has better choices for presidency
Ted Cruz is, without a doubt, a better choice for president than any Democrat.
Republicans have bet-ter choices than a Sena-tor. Senators don’t have the executive experience needed. As members of a political team, they follow party leadership.
Successful governors like Scott Walker, John Kasich, Bobby Jindal or Rick Perry have proven experience needed to run a government.
We’ll soon know who Democrats fear most. he liberal media will attack our best choice and support the worst. Dole, McCain and Romney were media fa-vorites until nominated.

Great memories of Galveston County Fair and Rodeo
Although the rodeo started in 1938, it was not until the ‘50s that I got to marvel at all the things to do and see at the rodeo. Having family live near Runge Park, many of us played year-round in the park and was amazed when
the fair and rodeo would arrive with all the traditional events and the rides.
Since 1984, the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo expanded into Jack Brooks Park and today, thousands of children get to enjoy all the good things of living in the country, even if the area is getting more citylike.
his hursday, the
GCF&R will honor veterans with a special 2-hour early open-ing, so those veterans and their families can wander around without the crowds. Whether it is due to a battle wound, one you may not be able to see, or not, many veterans are let out of events with their families if it involves a crowded venue. Many local veterans will come out and help our wounded veterans get to experience this, some for the irst time.
hank you GCF&R for all you do, and thank you for all your “special days” at our rodeo.
