Her parents are Bob and Sharon Climer King and granddaughter of Farris and Patsy Climer. Members of the Haywood Junior High School Lady Warriors Basketball A-Team are: Summer Cunningham, Idalias Flagg, Jasmine Jarmon, Dasjia Wilson, Jabria Nixon, Alecia Johnson, Latoya Darby, Madison Smith, Shalliah Khalid, Tietiyana Bailey, Aundria Middlebrook, Bretannica Perkins, Kayla Shaw, Ariel Woodland and Eliza Ford. B-Team members are: Aundria Middlebrook, Bretannica Perkins, Eliza Ford, Ariel Woodland, Camry Hicks, Ka’necha Hines, Vanterria Tyus, Aierial Oldham, Jamillah Jelks and Eugenie Boles. Coaches are Buffie Turner and Kendall Dancy. The Tomcats opened up playing strong defense from the blow of the first whistle as the defense sparked the offense. The third quarter proved to be the turning point in the game as Haywood constantly pulled away with strong teamwork and pressure on the ball. There were a lot of open shots and turnovers created by the Tomcats as they defeated Northside with a final score of 84 to 50. Jamarcus Comage was the leading scorer of the night with 17 points. He adeptly worked the ball inside and drew many fouls as he broke down Northside’s defense. Dewayne Turner added 11 points and Tyler Boyd chipped in with 9 and a thunderous dunk in the final quarter of the game. The Tomcats have been rebuilding under Coach Ray Jones with this yearís team returning a lot of seniors from the JV team. They are a seasoned group of players that have played together for a while and their strength will be in defense.
