*B TEMPO AQUILA DANZIGER

Danziger is a correct dairy young buck with the most outstanding performance pedigree we have ever produced! We didn’t get his photos done before the UCN deadline, but he is a pretty boy with straight front legs, nicely angulated rear legs, a smooth front end, great head, and lots of dairy character. Although he is a late April kid, he’s in full rut already and he says he’s more than ready to go to work in your herd right now! Even looking at his extended performance pedigree doesn’t begin to show the number of high producing, Excellent Champions in his background. The prepotency is amazing, and most does have daughters and sisters that are just as incredible. The further I looked into this pedigree, the more I found. So, be prepared to take some time to savor the pictures and records, and keep checking back, as I’ll keep adding more as I can!

Rotini and Ricciolini had a third sister, GCH Tempo Aquila Rigatoni, whose records and photo are unavailable. She is the dam of SG Tempo Aquila Fusilli 6*M, owned by Scott Bice. Fusilli just qualified for Top Ten. They join Tetra’s twin does, born 6/13. Tetra also is the dam of SG *B Tempo Aquila Zodiac, owned by UC Davis. A twin to Fettuccine, Zodiac has 5 fresh daughters averaging FS89, including three first fresheners, with the two second fresheners both at FS91. Again, with sires like X-Rated (son of Reserve National Champion and Top Ten doe, Sine Qua Non) and Freelance (Elite Sire, National Show Premier Sire), Rima is no fluke, but a well bred doe living up to her potential. And just a few fun relations- One of the best parts about doing all the work and research that goes into a Spotlight Sale kid is looking at the older animals in the pedigree, and seeing how the pedigree fits together. Then there are the other animals which are closely, but perhaps not as directly related. So, here’s a few that I just had to put in- Macaroon is the dam of Tetra, and also the dam of Praline. Both Macaroon and Praline were bred to Royal Image, producing ¾ sisters, Tetra and Tokay. Royal Image was also the sire of the twins Freely Imagined and Freelance, and at least one other FS92 doe, Feelin’ Free. Feelin’ had two GCH legs when she was injured as a young doe and not shown again. As a side note, she was the granddam of Living Free.

Now, going even further back, before there was Freelance, there was Free Radical. Macaroon was a daughter of GCH++*B Tempo Aquila Free Radical, as was 2006 National Champion SGCH Cherry Glen Radical Gesture. Free Spirit was the only Alpine I retained while I was in college. She was a daughter of GCH++*B Redwood Hills Sunshine Reverie. Bred AI to GCH ++*B Tempo Aquila Amor, she produced Free Love. Radical was a son of Free Love, bred back to her grandsire, Reverie. Through a different daughter bred to +*B Shahena’ko Crown Royal, Free Spirit was the foundation of our original American Alpine doe line, which resulted in Free Thinker, Freely Imagined, Freelance, and Finally Free. In addition to her son Radical, Free Love’s daughters included GCH Free Breeding, who is the dam line which produced Living Free.
