COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course, cognitive but also highly experiential, has been designed to help students understand the behavior ofpeople at work and make the learning process enjoyable. We will explore a range of perspectives that explain thedynamics of individual, interpersonal, group, and organizational structure and processes, to make sense of today'sorganisational world. Scientific concepts, theories, teaching methods and ideas, will be delivered to:

- understand the various aspects of human behaviour and cognition, both at the level of groups' dynamics and ofindividuals' changes within a social system;

- provide students tools and techniques to develop personal awareness about individual and organisationalbehaviour;

- help students who want to self-fulfil professionally to develop a corporate entrepreneurial mindset and to start atailored, authentic and personal achievement process toward their professional dream supported by suitablepsychological tools and techniques referring to "the psychology of professional dreams fulfilment" (ProfessionalDreamers Project by Remigia Spagnolo);

- to disseminate knowledge that advances the understanding of how and when to follow, manage, lead, in order toincrease personal and organisational effectiveness.

COURSE AIMS

Students will be able to:

- develop personal and social awareness and reflect about human behavior in organisations;

- acquire relevant conceptual frameworks to better describe and understand dynamics within differentorganisations;

- assume a critical attitude towards key components of human nature, such as personality, authentic"professional dream" and motivation, influence and power in groups and organisations;

- develop interpersonal skills, which have a fundamental importance of improving both social and individualrelationships within teamwork-based organisation.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course aims to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues in the theory and practice ofsustainability accounting, accountability and reporting. The course will adopt a critical stance and examine both thetheoretical underpinning and the practical challenges associated with non-financial reporting. In the context ofintegrated reporting, emerging practice will be critically examined through the study of sustainability reports andsolutions recommended by organisations such as GRI and IIRC.

COURSE AIMS

The course is designed to provide an introductory understanding of non-financial reporting and to foster studentsunderstanding about the possibilities and challenges of accounting for, measure outcomes, report, and assurecorporate sustainability practices. Students will achieve a critical appreciation of key issues and research relevantto sustainability accounting, accountability and reporting; a critical and theoretical understanding of the role ofaccounting and reporting in corporate social responsibility; a critical appreciation of developments and rationalesfor sustainability accounting and reporting such as GRI and Integrated reporting.
