Devised by musical director Stuart Morley (We Will Rock You) and director Stuart Wood the course will give you a professional rehearsal and performance experience.
You’ll be part of musical theatre ensemble developing your skills in acting, singing and dancing through working on well known musicals and some new material never before performed. At the end of the second term you’ll present your work in a performance at the Tobacco Factory.
You’ll work with directors, choreographers and musical directors who all work in the professional theatre.
Join b-creative’s new musical theatre course for young people aged 13-18
There’ll be workshops with performers from current musicals and master classes with leading figures in the industry such as casting director Debbie O’Brien (Starlight Express, Grease, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), choreographer Kevan Allen (the new arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar) and musical director Stuart Morley.
The first course starts on 12th January 2013 and runs on Saturday mornings 9.30am - 12.30 for two 10 week terms.Places on the course are limited and entry is by audition in November 2012.Auditions are FREE.Course fees are £165 per 10 week term.
We’re based at the Brewery Rehearsal Studio
in Southville, Bristol BS3, part of the
Tobacco Factory Theatre.
