The SURVEY RESEARCH CENTER is concerned primarily with the study of large populations, organizations, and special segments of society, and generally utilizes interview surveys.

The RESEARCH CENTER FOR GROUP DYNAMICS is concerned with the development of basic scien~e of behavior in groups, seeking to explain the nature of the social forces which cause group behavior, the relations among members, and the activities of the group as a whole.

The CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON UTILIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE studies the processes required for the full use of research findings and new knowledge.

The CENTER FOR POLITICAL STUDIES investigates a variety of political behavior, focusing on national politics in many countries, and maintains a rich collection of election data.*
