Design Process
1. Estimate required building capacity using idealized building model (P-i curves/ Occupant Vulnerability) and QRA results
2. Achieve efficient/inexpensive design by separating building up into key components an assessing simultaneously
3. Design roof and wall components using Single Degree of Freedom (SDOF) dynamic analysis and Applicable Response Criteria
4. Construct building-specific P-i diagram
5. Calculate Risk
6. Iterate to reduce risk and/or cost
