• In Mykonos you can stay in different hotels or in rooms that you can’t rent them.

What to see• Mykonos cyclades is considered the most cosmopolitan spot in Greece.

The island is famous for it’s amazing beaches, the picturesque villages, the vivid nightlife and, it’s friendly attitude.

• The chapel of panagia paraportiani is the most popular church of the island. An other think that you can see in mykonos is the archaeological museum of mykonos uncludes findings from excavations on the island and the surrounding small islets. Such as small statues, ceramic vases and jewelery. An other think that you can visit are the hill with the traditional windmills. These windmills have been restored and have become trademark of the island over the years.

What to shop

• In the centre of the island are souvenir shop you can chose different gifts for your family or friends.

Where/what to eat• Antoninni’s Taverna near the Taxi Square in Mykonos town has the

best home cooking on the island. Friendly waiters welcome you and provide great service. Healthy portions and a great view of the “Mykonos Parade” walking around the town.

• Avoid Aqua Taverna in Hora. We went there due to good rating in Frommer’s ,but the food was mediocre and overpriced.

• You have to visit the best cheap eats on the island at Niko’s Tavern. It’s a bit hard to find among the winding paths inside the Chora (Main Town), but it’s worth it. Also the waiters are good looking.

What to buy • The Matagionni street is the main shopping street of the

island. Lots of shops of any kind, jewelerys, local souvenirs, small cafes and restaurants but also high and boutiques and top designers. Also you will find great home decorations of sea-woud, antiques and special

points.

Where to have fun• You could go on and on about Mykonos history and place in

Greece, but just let it be said that Mykonos seems to be the epicenter of Greek tourism. It offers excellent beaches, wonderful shopping for fine things, great restaurants and bars and above all, a free spirited ambiance that doesn’t exist anywhere else on Earth.I am not sure how anyone could imrove on Mykonos infrastructure.

• While you are quite close to the city of Mykonos you ship will provide a shuttle that will take you to the drop off point to enter the city. You should take this shuttle,as the road that transits from the port to the city is quite narrow and there is no should to walk upon. It simple isn’t safe to walk it.
