AYRE Architectural Lighting AYRE Architectural Lighting provides custom design, engineering, and manufacturing of lighting fixtures for hospitality, retail, and residential spaces. Our standard product line is defined by innovative design, precision metal work, exquisite glass and a respect for simplicity. All of which can be customized with a range of lamping, diffuser, and finish options.

For unique and exceptional projects, we also specialize in creating custom fixtures on a small or grand scale. We're committed to energy efficient design and the use of renewable and reclaimable resources. We work in brass, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and steel as well as wood; our finishes include plated, non-plated, dipped, powder-coat, and PVD; diffuser options include mouth-blown glass, fabric, acrylic and wood veneer.

Full CustomAYRE collaborates with interior designers, architects, lighting designers, and lighting specifiers to develop custom lighting solutions specific to their needs. Having an in-house design staff increases productivity and gives the client all the tools necessary to bring their ideas to life. We support all phases of the design process: from concept, through a collaborative design work-flow, to final realization within the architectural space. We offer 3D CAD modeling and photorealistic renderings to support each project.

Designing LightWhen designing a light fixture aimed at improving the quality of light for personal grooming in the bathroom, there are three qualities to consider.

The placement of the light fixture within the grooming

environment is an important factor in providing a proper

distribution of functional light. Single fixtures illuminating

the face from the left and right will evenly distribute light

on the face while minimizing unsightly shadowing from

overhead lights.

Ayre bath fixtures take advantage of long tubular glass

diffusers that are designed to fully illuminate the face. The

length of glass provides a uniform quality of light when

paired with our recommended warm, fluorescent lamping.

QUALITY

In the modern workplace and home, luminance levels

commonly range from between 10 and 100 FC [foot-

candles]. In the bathroom, when functioning as a task light

for personal grooming, the recommended light output

averages 50FC.

Ayre Bath fixtures have been specifically designed

to provide the required levels of light to enhance the

grooming experience.

Designing LightDesigning our fixtures around the recommended quality, output, and color of light has given Ayre a distinct advantage in the quality of bathroom fixtures available today.

Color temperature is a very important piece of the puzzle.

For grooming environments, a warm/soft fluorescent

light with a value between 2700K-3100K [Kelvin] will

closely match the quality of natural light.

SustainabilityAYRE is committed to energy efficiency in design and the use of renewable and reclaimable resources. We work with a number of local sources within the design community to repurpose their waste and cutoffs for use in our fixtures and custom design applications.

The Boutique Series is manufactured using reclaimed wood and aluminum materials. Having close relationships with local furniture design studios allows us to repurpose the cutoff and remnant materials from high end furniture builds. It is a great way to take advantage of the material waste from beautiful woods that would otherwise be ground up into sawdust for disposal.

Because energy efficiency is one of our top priorities, we offer compact fluorescent and LED options as main and secondary light sources throughout the product line.

TERMS OF SALE: All orders require a 50% deposit. All

custom orders require a signed purchase order, a 50% non-

refundable deposit, and signed drawings in order to begin

production. The balance is due prior to shipping. Custom

orders are not subject to cancellation and are non-returnable.

FREIGHT: Freight charges are F.O.B. factory (Easton, MA).

No freight allowance. On Freight collect orders; the option of

carrier is at the discretion of AYRE Architectural Lighting unless

specified.

MERCHANDISE RETURNS: Custom product is non-returnable.

No standard merchandise may be returned without prior

authorization. Merchandise must be packed properly and

shipped prepaid and insured via UPS or by another authorized

AYRE Architectural Lighting shipping agent at the customer's

expense. Returns for credit must be returned within 30 days

of receipt in their original factory packaging and in re-sellable

condition. All merchandise to be returned must be properly

identified to prevent loss in shipment. A restocking charge of

25% will be made on all authorized returns for credit.

WARRANTY: AYRE Architectural Lighting warrants that

its products are free from imperfections in materials and

workmanship for a period of one year, from the date of

purchase. AYRE Architectural Lighting's obligation is limited

to repair or replacement only after written approval has

been granted. This warranty shall not apply to products that

have been changed or repaired without AYRE Architectural

Lighting's knowledge or approval. AYRE Architectural Lighting

is not liable for costs incurred in the installation of warranted

products. This warranty is in lieu of all other express or implied

warranties, including but not limited to any implied warranty

of product merchantability. AYRE Architectural Lighting is not

responsible for costs associated with removal or reinstallation

of the product

LAMPING: Not included unless specified.

CLAIMS: All fixtures are shipped free of defects. If there are

any claims of loss or damage associated with your shipment,

please notify AYRE Architectural Lighting immediately. Please

retain all packaging materials and damaged merchandise for

inspection by the freight company.

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT: AYRE Architectural Lighting,

reserves the right to discontinue product. AYRE will attempt

to give adequate notice. At its discretion, AYRE Architectural

Lighting may be able to produce discontinued product

upon written request. Please consult the customer service

department for product availability, pricing and delivery

information.

ADA: All fixtures that are designated as ADA in specification

pages meet the requirements of the American Disabilities Act

section 4.4.1. The American with Disabilities Act states that

objects projecting from the wall between 27" and 80" above

the floor shall protrude a maximum of 4" into corridors, halls

and passageways.

U.L.: All fixtures are U.L. listed unless otherwise specified.
