Spicer India’s Chakan and Jodalli locations have EOU plants catering exclusively to Dana Holding Corporation, USA. Integrated R&D centre with design, FEA and testing for all driveline product groups under one roof, at Dana India Technical Centre, Hinjewadi Pune.

SPICER INDIA LIMITED, a joint venture between Dana Holding Corporation, USA, and the Anand group, India was established in 1993, is a leading supplier of Axles, Drive-shafts (also known as propeller shafts) and Drive-train products as well as genuine service parts. The company provides complete system solutions to OEMs and the Aftermarket in India. It is a major exporter to Dana Holding Corporation. Spicer India Limited products are marketed through a network of dealers and retailers across the country in the Aftermarket segment.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

Light AxlesFront and Rear Live Axles for light commercial vehicles, sports utility vehicles and multi-utility vehicles are some of the most significant products offered by the company. It has a combined manufacturing capacity of 480,000 Axles per year of both Salisbury and Banjo designs. The company is a pioneer in the manufacturing and supply of Banjo design Axles for these vehicles.

AdvanTek series Axles The AdvanTek series Axles are part of an innovative design to address today’s light truck buyer. It does so by applying luxury-car-like noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) standards to the pickup truck, SUV and CUV markets. It offers cutting edge, emergent technologies that conserve fuel, improve warranty and delivers world-class NVH performance.

The Drive-shaft connects an automobile gearbox to the Rear Axle of the vehicle. It is also referred to as a "Prop-shaft". The Company has a combined capacity to manufacture 10,00,000 Propeller Shafts per year, which includes the Spicer 10 Series, Spicer Life Series (SPL Series) and Compact Series for the entire range of vehicles including sports utility vehicles, multi utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles, medium commercial vehicles and heavy commercial vehicles.

Compact 2000 SeriesThe Compact 2000 Series is a new generation series Propeller Shaft for heavy commercial vehicles ranging form 25T to 49T. It provides additional features and advantages like extended life, reduction in weight, increased torque carrying capacity, durability and improved NVH.
