G. W. AXIAL EANS SL Casing Fans Standard Length (SL) fans are those with a casing which covers the overall length oi the impeiler and the motor and are available in all fan sizes. The motor leads (protected by a flexible conduit) are taken to a weather-proof terminal box which is welded to the fan casing. Bifurcated Fans These have been specially designed to handle corrosive fumes, hot air and gases which would be detrimental to the life of the motor. The fans have a split air way with a direct drive motor isolated from the fan air stream. Belt Driven Axial Fans Belt driven axial fans are produced for duties which require the motor to be outside the system air strear These have been specially designed lor paint booth exhaust anc ventilation applications.
