DIRECTIONSEasy

MATERIALS• Baby pompadour yarn:

7 oz aqua1 oz white

• Baby yarn:Small amount yellowScrap of tan

• Crochet hook size D/3• 2 black 12mm eyes with lock

washers• 15mm black nose with lock

washer• Fiberfill• #/4 x 14-inch strip of

interfacing• Yarn needle

GAUGE6 sc = 1 inch; 6 sc rnds = 1 inch

PATTERN NOTESWeave in loose ends as work pro-

gresses.Loop stitch (lp st): Insert hook in

next st, wrap yarn around left indexfinger from front to back, catch bothstrands of yarn around index finger,pull yarn through st, slip lp off finger,yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.The lp st stays to the back of thestitch, so the lp st rnds will be workedfrom the inside of the project.

Loop stitch decrease (lp st dec): In-sert hook in next st, draw up a lp st,yo, insert hook in next st, draw up a lpst, yo, draw through all lps on hook.
