Congratulations to AWMI Philadelphia Chapter Vice President Amy Beard (of Quaker Chemical, an AWMI Corporate Member) who with her client form Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa were third runners up for the AIST Hunt-Kelly Outstanding Paper Award.
April Pitts from Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa was recognized for her contributions with one of three 2015 AIST Member Chapter Service Awards. AWMI had a booth in the exhibition hall that was staffed by members from the Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia and New York chapters.

As an ASME Section I, Section III and Section VIII certificate holder, Swepco can provide the technical and manufacturing expertise for all your critical applications requiring high performance materials.
Technology & Talent
Swepco is constantly improving its manufacturing capabilities and upgrading its ability to service the needs of the process industries. A wide range of sizes and alloys are available from short runs, quick lead-time to larger production runs and longer lead-times. Special sizes, alloys and unique products can be readily produced for use in the most critical applications.
Swepco Capabilities
Size range Pipe-4" IPS through 36" IPS schedule 5 through 160, Tubing-5" OD through 48" OD, Walls .065" through 2.500". Custom diameters and wall thicknesses within those size ranges also available. Lengths to 40 feet long without a circumferential weld and produced with one longitudinal weld seam. Swepco also produces rolled and welded cylinders in diameters up to 96". Walls through 2.188" thickness can be autogenously welded (without filler metal) for complete conformance to the ASME SA-312 requirements. Swepco can produce products conforming to many other codes and specifications as well.
Structural Tubing:
Square tubing 3" x 3" through 24" x 24".
Rectangles 3"x 4" through 23" x 24".
Walls .188" through 1" thickness.
Structural sizes through 12" x 12" x 1/2" wall thickness are produced from tube rounds having 1 longitudinal weld seam. Larger sizes and heavier wall thicknesses may have 2 longitudinal seams.
Alloys and Metals
All weldable grades of stainless steel, nickel alloys, Alloy 20, 276, duplex grades, 6-moly grades, aluminum, titanium, copper alloys and many other exotic metals and alloys can be supplied by Swepco.
