A three times Formula One world champion, who had the nickname of 'the scientist' because of his extensive range of engineering knowledge. He drove for March, BRM, Ferrari, Brabham and McLaren. At the German Grand Prix, in 1976, during the second lap, his Ferrari crashed, and burst into flames. Lauda was trapped and suffered serious burns to his head and damaged his lungs. He came to within an inch of his life, yet, in 6 weeks, he was back racing, in time for the Italian GP, which he finished in a heroic 4th, despite his extensive injuries. How's that for courage?

She's worked with charities and foundations such as Make a wish, Erase MS and R.O.C.K.S, as well as setting up her own foundation, The Avril Lavigne Foundation.Yep, she's definitely awesome, what's not to love?

Sir Jonathan Ive is a designer at Apple Inc. He was interested in internal and external design since he was young, and whilst at school and college, he was nominated for countless design awards. Even then, his work was considered unique and extraordinary. After university, he set up the design company, Tangerine design. Years later, Apple asked him to go and work for them in California, and he did. The rest, is history. His works of art include the iPod/Pad/Phone/Mac ranges, and you will almost certain have encountered some of it.
