    DUSTY GAVELS E.S.P. AWARD"

Dusty Gavels is a loosely knit group, started in 1981, composed of past presidents of the MontroseAltrusa Club. One of its privileges is to choose recipients of the ESP. Award.

In Altrusa, E.S.P. stands for Efficiency, Service and Patriotism. It also stands for "Extra Special Person"and that is what the recipients are -- women who have quietly, without a lot of fanfare, given outstandingservice to the club. Past Presidents are not eligible for this award.
