SARVODAYA AWARD SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION 2013-14Dear Sir/Madam,

The Sarvodaya Group of Educational institutions have established a high reputation in providing quality study materials and in conducting scholarship examinations. They are managed by a group of educational experts, Principals and well experienced teachers.

The SARVODAYA AWARD SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME will organize a National level Scholarship Examination for the academic year 2013-14. The scheme aims at identifying the innate talents among the children of different age groups and providing scholarships to talented children.

Students studying from LKG to Class X, irrespective of the syllabus they follow, are eligible to appear for the examination. Entries will be accepted from June 2013. The last date for submission of entry form is August 31, 2013. All entries sent by post from anywhere in India till August 31, 2013 will be treated as valid.

Managed and organised by eminent educational experts

National level examination

Candidates from any part of India, irrespective of the syllabus they follow, can appear for the examination.

Only meritorious students will be awarded.

Timely conduct of examination and declaration of result

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Questions for identifying talented students.

Study materials and model question papers prepared by experienced teachers for reference.

Conducted with the support and patronage of the Principals, Heads of Institutions and Managements.

Helps the candidates for improving their scholastic performance, reasoning power, and imagination.

Helps the holistic development of the students both in scholastic and co-scholastic areas

rdResults will be published by the 3 week of January 2014 and Awards will be distributed through schools by

January 31, 2014

General knowledge, English language, Mathematics, and Mental Ability of the respective classes will be taken

into consideration. Guides with previous years' question papers for each class are available on demand.

The Final examination will be conducted at selected centres. There will not be any preliminary examination.

However, the schools desirous of conducting model examinations may conduct the same on their own. The

examination centres will be intimated later. If the number of participants is more than 100 (one hundred) from

one school, such institutions may be considered for the examination centres.

Entries less than 20 (twenty) from an institution will not be accepted under any circumstances.

A nominal fee of ̀ 60/- (Rupees Sixty only) will be charged from each candidate. The school may retain 15% of

the total collection for incidental expenses, such as postage, bank charges, other administrative expenses, etc.

Details about the fee collection, mode of payment, etc., are given in the School Entry Form (SEF). The SEF is

enclosed with this booklet.

B. Rank holders from Classes VI and VII will be considered as one category and

Classes VIII to X will be another category. Awards and Scholarships are given below

A. The Rank holders in each Class from LKG to Class V will be awarded Medals and Scholarships

In addition to the above, many more Cash Awards, Special Award Medals, Merit Certificates for Rank

holders, School Topper Medal for the topper in each category, if there are minimum 30 enrolments from a class.

Participation Certificate to every candidate will be distributed.

C SCHOOL SASS CO-ORDINATOR'S AWARD : Sarvodaya Award Scholarship Scheme (SASS) Co-ordinator's

Award and a cash prize of ` 500/- will be awarded to selected co-ordinators, depending on the number of

participants from that school

D SARVODAYA AWARD FOR PRINCIPALS : Sarvodaya Awards for principals with a Cash Award of Rs 1000/- will

also be given to selected Principals

Guides / Hand Books will be made available to schools at the following rates. These materials are designed

and prepared by well experienced teachers handling the subjects for several years.
