Several packages and specialty items are available. Packets
will be distributed in a couple of weeks. Order
envelopes with payment should be brought back to school
on picture day and given to your child’s teacher.
Please check your child’s classroom Newsflash for the class’
specific day and time.
Please be patient while dropping off and picking up students. We ask that you wait to be the first (at door 3B) or one of the first in line before opening your doors for your children. Please pull into a parking space to buckle in your child. Lines can become very backed up when children are being buckled during pick-up.
From our Director….. We have had an exciting start to the year! The children have been enthusiastic about making friends, learning and discovering new experiences. The teachers have been work-ing hard to make it a safe environment for the children and are enjoying getting to know each child. Thank you parents, for helping us make the beginning of school fun and safe for everyone! Enjoy the beautiful fall season! Teresa Fox, Director

We understand that the process of signing kids in and out the Procare Connect app everyday has been a confusing transition for some, and we are happy to
help those who are still learning. That being said, in order for this method of attendance to be effective, it is important that our system has a head-count of whose being dropped off each day. If there are any questions we can answer to help this process go smoothly, please reach out. If your child is being dropped off by someone who does not have the app, please have that communicated and we will make sure that they get signed in.

Early Childhood Screening is a
quick and simple check of each
child’s growth and
development.
The purpose of this screening is to identify learning or health
needs your child may have in the areas of hearing, vision, growth
and general development prior to starting school. Early interven-
tion can enhance growth and development. This is not a screen-
ing to determine kindergarten readiness.
This appointment should be scheduled as soon as possible
after your child’s third birthday.
Rochester Public Schools offers this screening at Northrup
Community Education Center to children at least 3 years of age.

Label Outdoor Clothing
As the weather continues to get colder, we will still play outside. It is extremely helpful to have all outdoor clothing (including light jackets) labeled with the child’s name. Black snow pants and black boots all look very similar. We also encourage a separate bag for snow gear. There are some snow gear bags are availa-ble in the KK office. Please let us know if you need one for your child. All 2 year old classes will have recess in the gym when snow pants are required or if the wind-chill is below 30 degrees.
