The Rural Small Business Conference is a gathering of rural Alaska small business owners that provides them with networking opportunities, training, and technical information.

Last year’s RSBC was overwhelmingly successful, having over 200 participating businesses who received diverse trainings over the course of three days.

Alaska Village Initiatives started the RSBC after identifying the urgent need to connect rural Alaskan entrepreneurs with the various resources and networks available to them.

RSBC’s success has come from developing strong relationships in Alaska’s remote rural villages that allow for collaboration and identification of the needs facing rural Alaska.

Alaska Village Initiatives put together the RSBC by reaching out to the rural business owners, technical assistance providers, and sponsors to host the event.
