The system is easily scalable and the number o sites

and camera installations are limited only by disk space,

bandwidth and system confguration. It allows or easy

administration o multiple user accounts and permis-

sion levels, as well as user-specifc camera settings.

Support or H.264 video compression signifcantly

reduces the need or Internet bandwidth without com-

promising image quality.

To save bandwidth and storage the sotware supports

scheduled and event-driven recordings initiated by

motion or external inputs. Manual recording can be

defned directly in the service portals live view interace

and event notifcations can be received via email, or SMS.

AXIS Video Hosting System (AVHS) is a platorm or creating a service provider-specifc portal to

manage video monitoring services over the Internet. Connect Axis network video products to a

local area network at monitored sites and the AVHS system will provide easy and secure Internet

access to live and recorded video accessible rom any location.

AVHS includes recording search unctions with calendar

visualization and export unctionality, and navigation

tools that provide quick access to cameras and record-

ings. The system also supports control o PTZ cameras.

The sotware is developed with ocus on ease-o-use

and intuitive handling. The user interace is easy to

customize to meet service provider requirements and

graphic identity.

The patent pending One-Click Camera connection ea-

ture makes it easy to include cameras in the system

regardless o internet service provider, routers and fre-

wall settings.
