Here at Avalon we like to do things differently. Fifteen years ago, when the school was founded, we took a fresh approach to teaching English. Gone are the boring classrooms and old-fashioned books: replaced by lively, interactive classes with teachers dedicated to getting students speaking.

All of our students have one thing in common - an impatience to learn English quickly. That’s why we developed Quantum English.

Read on to find out more about these fun, exciting courses that will get you speaking within weeks.

Avalon also offers great exam preparation classes for IELTS, FCE and CAE, as well as Business English and University Foundation Courses.

Don’t miss the opportunity of studying in one of the world’s greatest cities. We can’t wait to meet you.

Students are encouraged to experience all aspects of British culture during their time here; by visiting museums or art galleries, going on excursions to other towns in England, seeing gigs or participating in a traditional school sports day. Recent events have included a boat party cruise along the River Thames and a tour of the Houses of Parliament!Suggestions from students for future events are always welcome – if it’s something that they’d like to do, we will try to organise it.
