Day 1 - Depart the USA: Depart Charlotte for Porto.

Day 2 - PORTO: Welcome to Portugal. Meet & greet by a Jet Vacations host in Porto airport and transfer to your ship. After you've comfortably settled in your cabin, we'll introduce our crew during our welcome cocktail party, followed by dinner. In the evening, you can join us on an optional excursion by coach to explore Porto by night. (Dinner)

Day 3 – PORTO: After a breakfast buffet on board, you can join us on an optional guided tour of Porto. You will discover one of the oldest cities in Europe, with a historic center that is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will marvel at its old districts, veritable maze of narrow winding lanes, arcaded houses, and beautiful little churches. However, Porto is known first and foremost for its famous port wines from vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see along the banks of the Douro River. In Vila Nova de Gaia, we will visit a wine cellar where this exceptional wine is mellowed and matured slowly and in great secrecy, followed by a tasting of this “precious nectar”. After our tour, we’ll return to the boat for lunch, followed by a free afternoon to discover Porto at your own pace. You can also request a Rabello boat ride to take you downtown. At the end of the day, we’ll return on board for dinner, followed by a Fado-themed evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 4 - PORTO - REGUA: After enjoying a breakfast buffet on board, you will be able either to take some time to stroll around Porto, or take part in the optional excursion to Braga. This city is nicknamed the “Rome of Portugal” because of its high quality religious architecture. After our tour, we’ll return on board for lunch, while our boat casts off and cruises to Re ́gua. You will be able to admire the fabulous landscapes as we sail by. Relax and enjoy the ride as we sail past the gigantic locks at Crestuma and Carrapatello, the highest in Europe at 35 m (115 ft). You’ll enjoy dinner on board, followed by an evening dancing, or enjoy a free evening to stroll through Regua by night. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 – REGUA / VEGA DE TERRON: After a breakfast buffet on board, you can join us on an optional excursion to Vila Re ́al, a town with a great variety of religious buildings and architecture. We will continue our tour with a wonderful walk through the beautiful gardens of the Solar de Mateus. During our excursion, the boat will raise anchor and cruise to Pinha ̃o, where we will join it for lunch on board as we cast off and continue to the next port. We will be sailing into the very heart of the most famous vineyards in Porto, past magnificent hills covered with vine trellises, planted in terraces and plunging majestically down towards the river. We will pass through the Valeira and Pocinho locks before arriving in Barca d’Alva during the evening. You will enjoy dinner on board, followed by an evening of Flamenco entertainment. Day 6 - BARCA D’ALVA (excursion to Salamanca): You’ll begin your day with a breakfast buffet on board in Barca d’Alva. In the morning, you can participate in a city tour featuring the magnificent Cathedral or join an optional excursion to Salamanca, awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. This town of dazzling beauty houses some extraordinary Roman, Arabic, and Christian architectural treasures. After our tour we then return to the boat at the end of the afternoon. You’ll enjoy dinner and an evening of entertainment on board. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 - BARCA D’ALVA / FERRADOSA / PINHAO: We’ll set off early in the morning and have a breakfast buffet on board as we cruise through the locks in Pocinho and Valeira. Our boat will continue cruising while you enjoy a relaxing lunch on board. We’ll arrive in Ferradosa around 2 :00 p.m. where you can join us on the optional “wines of Porto” excursion. You will follow the road through the vineyards and stop at an overlook surrounded by vines. We’ll then continue our trip to a “quinta” where we will sample the wines of Porto. After the tour, you’ll return back on board in Pinha ̃o around 6 :00 p.m. You will also have the opportunity to explore the old Pinhao train station, with its splendid “azulejos”(traditional Portuguese tiles). At the end of the day, you’ll enjoy our gala dinner and evening on board. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 - PINHAO / PORTO: You’ll begin your day with a breakfast buffet on board in Pinhao. In the morning, you can join us on our optional guided tour by coach of Lamego. During this tour, you will discover the Nossa Senhora dos Remedios sanctuary and the cathedral. After our tour, we’ll return on board in Re ́gua for lunch, while our boat casts off and cruises to Porto, passing through a number of large locks. Our boat will arrive in port towards the end of the evening. At the end of the day, you’ll enjoy dinner and a traditional folklore-themed evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 - PORTO: Enjoy one last breakfast buffet on board before disembarking. END OF SERVICES
