SOMETHING LIGHTER

GEORGE’S RUNNY YOLK SCOTCH EGG
Handmade pork, leek and ginger runny yolk Scotch egg, served with
splendid piccalilli.
CHICKEN GOUJONS
Chicken fillets coated in George's secret blend of Asian spices and
breadcrumbs, served on a bed of baby leaf salad with lashings of
sweet curry sauce, chopped spring onions, fresh coriander and a
wedge of lime.
CLASSIC GEORGE'S SQUID
A stack of tender squid rings dusted with Old Bay seasoning and
drizzled with our spicy sauce. Served with a wedge of lemon and
garnished with chopped spring onion and coriander.
COD PAKORAS
Bite sized pieces of cod in onion bhaji batter, served with a pot of
coriander and mint dip, a wedge of lime and a chopped spring onion
and coriander garnish.
CHARCOAL GRILLED GOATS CHEESE
Served on a salad of baby mixed leaf, roast new potatoes, pickled red
cabbage, George's dehydrated cherry tomatoes in preserved basil oil
and smoked onion puree.
CHILLI SHRIMP & MANGO CHUTNEY SALAD
Fresh tomato and lime salsa, topped with baby leaf salad and hot
chilli and garlic shrimp. Finished with smooth mango chutney and
chopped spring onion and coriander.
HALLOUMI SKEWERS
Halloumi skewers grilled using our charcoal grill and served on
a bed of cauliflower and mushroom curry.
HONEY BBQ SESAME CHICKEN FRITTERS
Our own version of sweet and sour chicken. Coated in chilli and
coriander batter and served on toasted sesame rice and glazed
with sweet and sour pineapple sauce.
MINI BANGERS WITH MASH & BACON
Mini British pork bangers under a crispy bacon duvet with bubble
and squeak mash and a sweet honey and mustard dressing.
HAM HOCK & MUSHY PEA FRITTERS
Our homemade ham hock and mushy pea fritters covered in crunchy
seaweed crumb and drizzled with creamy horseradish mayo.
Garnished with chopped spring onion, coriander and a wedge of lime.

PROPER DIRTY DOUBLE BURGER
Two burger patties made using the finest chuck and brisket, grilled
using our charcoal grill and topped with red Leicester. Served in
a brioche bun with baby leaf salad, a slice of tomato, thin slices of
pickled gherkin, lashings of dirty mayonnaise and tomato ketchup
on the side... A PROPER burger!
CHICKEN FILLET BURGER
Tender chicken fillet coated in breadcrumbs, topped with red
Leicester and served in a lightly toasted brioche bun with tomato,
baby leaf salad, campfire coleslaw and lashings of spicy mayo.
SLOW ROASTED STICKY PORK BUN
Caramelised slow cooked smoky pulled pork, served in a brioche bun
with sweet curry sauce, baby leaf salad, a slice of beef tomato and
George's own homemade pickled Asian slaw. Served with a pot of
sweet curry sauce and topped with a wedge of lime.
COD DOG
Crispy battered giant cod finger in a brioche bun with a
layer of mushy peas and a topping of chunky tartare sauce.
GEORGE'S STACKED FISH BURGER
A tender fillet of cod, dipped in chilli and coriander batter,
coated in polenta and BBQ rub. Served in a brioche bun with
bread and butter pickles, campfire coleslaw, tomato, baby leaf
salad, spicy dressing and a side of campfire coleslaw.
MAC 'N' CHEESE FEST BURGER
Everyone’s favourite comfort dish! Macaroni bound in rich mature
cheddar cheese, seasoned with a pinch of smoked paprika and
French’s mustard, formed into a pattie and coated in breadcrumbs.
Served in a lightly toasted brioche bun with a proper slice of beef
tomato, baby leaf salad, breaded halloumi, red Leicester, bread
and butter pickles and lashings of dirty mayo.

Baked cauliflower and button mushroom curry, slow cooked with

STEAK, ALE AND HENDERSON'S PIE
Beef slow cooked with ale, onions, mushrooms and Henderson’s
relish served in a light pastry case, layered with potato and swede
mash and topped with a roast onion and herb crumb. Served with

CHICKEN IN A BASKET
Tender chicken fillets in a light lemon pepper breadcrumb coating,
served with sugar grilled smoked bacon, sweetcorn pancakes,
campfire coleslaw, twice cooked chips and a spicy mayo dip.
GEORGE'S OWN SHEPHERD'S PIE
Slow cooked lamb with onions, carrots and swede. All served in
a shortcrust pastry case topped with bubble and squeak mash

SMOKED BACON CHOP
Cured and smoked to our own recipe. Served with Cheshire watercress
salad, pineapple salsa, fried Clarence Court free range egg, grilled cherry
vine tomatoes, confit button mushrooms and twice cooked chips.
GEORGE'S POSH HOME SMOKED BANGER
Charcoal grilled and served with champ mash, braised red cabbage,
caramelised onions and homemade onion gravy.
LEMON, TARRAGON & GARLIC GRILLED CHICKEN
Butterflied chicken breast, marinated in tarragon, lemon and
rapeseed oil, gently grilled and served on a bed of young salad leaves
and green beans. Served with confit button mushrooms, charcoal
grilled cauliflower, grain mustard, tarragon and honey dressing and
a side of your choice.
RUMP STEAK
28 day aged Aberdeen Angus 8oz rump, served with a stack of
crispy onion rings, baby leaf salad, grilled cherry vine tomatoes,
slow cooked button mushroom confit, twice cooked chips and a
pot of fresh tomato salsa.
SLOW COOKED CARAMELISED PULLED LAMB
Slow cooked and pulled shoulder of lamb, marinated with cumin
and grilled with honey. Served on bubble and squeak mash with
grilled cherry tomatoes, fine beans, a delicately spiced harissa
and coriander dressing. Topped with a spicy crumb.
CHARCOAL GRILLED YORKSHIRE VENISON
Haunch of venison grilled rare, with a red wine, honey, anise and
orange sauce, served with champ mash, braised red cabbage and
parsnip crisps.

Where do we start? The whole story really began with just two young chaps,Andrew (myself) and my closest friend, Nick. We became best friends nearly
35 years ago and together we are absolutely obsessed with good, honest food!
My father, George, first introduced me to traditional fish and chips we all know and love, over 40 years ago. In the 60's he moved to good old Blighty
from Cyprus and that's where he first opened up his very own chip shop.It was his love and passion for the British cuisine that really inspired me and together
with Nick, after years of preparing proper, honest fish and chips, we decided to share our love for food and the flavours adored by our nation with even more people!
