She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has received 500 hours of teacher training in Hatha, Tantra and Raja Yoga in Costa Rica and Bali. She created her little studio The Peaceful Wild at her home on the banks of beautiful Kaldfjord as a space to help her share her passion for wild nature and the practices of yoga and meditation as ways to cultivate connection and peace. Thursday 18:00-19.30: August 17 - September 7 (4 week course for 600nok) Everyone is welcome, no previous experience required. This course aims to demonstrate that the benefits of yoga are accessible to every body. The classes will teach classic yoga poses with a particular focus on finding good alignment and modifications so that everyone can find steadiness and ease. Dynamic Yoga with Extended Meditation Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation Thursdays 19:45-20.45: August 17-September 7 (4 week course for 400nok) Everyone is welcome. Yoga nidra (or yogic sleep) aims to create a state of deep relaxation with awareness and requires no previous experience. The classes will start with gentle stretching followed by 30- 40 minutes of lying in a guided meditation involving body scanning, breathing exercises, visualizations and positive affirmation. Yoga nidra is particularly useful for anyone with trouble sleeping, finding rest or managing stress.
