Most fuel pumps are very expensive. It’s not uncommon to see prices that are in

the $500-$1500 range and even higher on some models.

The best way to keep your fuel pump from overheating is to maintain at least ¼ tank of fuel in your vehicle which is usually enough to keep the pump cool!
