Automotive Technical Trainer and Programme Coordinator Saudi Arabia Our client has an exciting new position available based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing and delivering a Land Rover and Jaguar young people development programme using IMI qualifications to local students leading to level 2 qualifications. Local training staff, under the close guidance of the successful candidate, will deliver the programme. This will be conducted from their own training facilities. Experience in designing and implementing learning programmes is essential. Programmes will need to start from the very basic, leading to successful assessment of ATA level 2 qualifications with a development plan to move to level 3. Additional life skills and team building development will also be essential within this programme along with close integration of family members to track the students’ progression. This role is based in Saudi Arabia for a minimum of 18-24 months where the successful candidate will be working with a large local automotive client. You will preferably have experience of working within the Middle East and also have the right skills and knowledge in developing and delivering a training programme based around Jaguar and Land Rover products and the IMI qualifications. Knowledge of setting up and managing an IMI delivery centre would also be beneficial as this is initially an important aspect of the role. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to work on their own initiative with local and UK support. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to coach local trainers to take on the project post the term of the contract; this will require excellent communication and project management skills. The ability to be able to work under pressure to meet project milestones will be essential as this contract is initially for 18-24 months.
