FeaturesLIAMOCON switches on the motor if:
The water in overhead tank falls to prefixed low level i.e., below 75%, 50%, 25% as adjusted
The sump is full irrespective of any levels in the overhead tank at once when power comes
Soft touch needed in case we need to switch on the motor irrespective of any level in the overhead tank
The switch is in manual position
LlAMOCON switches off the motor for the following reasons: Liquid reaches maximum level in the overhead tank
There is a low or high voltage
Liquid in the sump goes below foot valve or as prefixed low level

Applications:Automatic Water level Controller for Hotels, Factories, Homes Apartments, Commercial Complexes, Drainages, etc., It can be fixed for single phase motor, Single Phase Submersibles, Three Phase motors. (For 3Æ and Single Phase Submersible Starter is necessary) and open well, Bore well and Sump. We can control two motor and two sumps and two overhead tanks by single unit (Auto Change Over). Many models available in different ranges.
Water level indicator cum controller
The present concept implements controlling of pump which pumps water from the sump (underground tank) to the overhead tank, using 8951 microcontroller.The control panel, i.e. the main control unit of the system which consists of the primary control switches, pump indicator, siren and level indicators. The visual example of how switches And the indicators can be placed as shown the figure below.

In the figure shown above there are total of nine LEDs, four of which indicates the water level in the tank, another four indicates the water level in the sump and one LED indicates whether the pump is ON/OFF. It also consists of three switches.
1. Switch 1 is the main power switch which is used to activate the system.2. Switch 2 is used to select whether to operate the pump in AUTO or MANUAL mode.
3. Switch 3 comes to picture only when the system is operated in MANUAL mode. It controls the direct activation of the pump.
Description :This system is built around an 8951 microcontroller and the circuit diagram is as given below.

As you can see in the above diagram, port 0 is exclusively used as an input port which takes the information regarding the water level in the sump as well as in the overhead tank.Port 1 is used as output port which is connected to the indicator that indicates the water level in both the tanks.Port 2 is used as in/out port, it takes the input from switch 2 and switch 3 and gives the output which is connected to pump indicator, siren and the relay which controls the switching of the pump.Working of the system:There are two modes of working for the system
1. Manual mode2. Auto mode
Which is controlled by switch 2 (refer control panel diagram)Manual mode:When the system is active and in manual mode, it only indicates the water levels in the tanks and it doesn’t control any working of the pump. To activate the pump in manual mode switch 3 is used.In this mode the operator should manually control the working of the pump. The water displaced from Phase one flows from the condenser into Phase three and then into the boiler. If the water level in the drum falls, then the indicating liquid in phase three in the inspection glass, falls correspondingly. The Numeric Water Level Indicator employs a simple mechanism to detect and indicate the water level in a tank or any other container. The level sensing is done by a set of nine probes which are placed at nine different levels on the tank walls (with probe9 to probe1 placed in decreasing order of height, COM probe is placed on the base of the tank). Basically, level9 represents the “tank full” condition while COM represents the “tank empty” condition. When the tank is empty, all the inputs to the priority encoder 74HC147 (IC1) remain high, as a result its output also remains high. Since these outputs are inverted and fed as inputs to the decoder driver CD4511 (IC2), all inputs to IC2 are low. The seven segment display correspondingly shows the digit 0, indicating that the tank is empty. When the water reaches level1 (but is below level2), pin11 (A0) of IC1 is pulled to ground and the output generated at pin9 (Y0) of IC1 also becomes low. After more...
