Individual ability should be on the minds of every first responder. While it is impossible to predict such events, it is possible to be prepared. LEFR-TCC physically and psychologically prepares law enforcement officers to effectively address the medical aspect of active shooter and terrorist incidents, including officer self-aid and assisting EMS agencies with life saving care to the injured once the threat has been subdued. Students will be pushed beyond their comfort zone and forced to make instant decisions. Realistic scenarios and force-on-force help immerse students into a tactical mindset, preparing them to properly and confidently respond during actual traumatic events.
