The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina
of Time was rated highly by
all of our authorities.
GameSpot was the only one that
happened to give it lower than a 10. This could
be due to the slight slowdown
in the story when you hit a couple of new
locations like the water temple.
Other than that, this classic is
overwhelmingly awesome.

Everyone knows the new title made by Bungie. Destiny had to live up to high expectations and unfortunately, our authorities think it did not. The game’s mechanics and basic game play can hold an averages gamers’ attention but it cannot satisfy everyone’s needs. The story line had no connection to anything going on in the game itself. Too many cliffhangers and too much was promised that we did not receive.

Our authorities rated Fallout 3 all in the high 9’s. The game is directed towards RPG players. It’s storyline appealed to many gamers who enjoy exploring the wasteland where our main protagonist resides. The game can captivate many, but a downside is that the game can’t appeal to everyone. Many COD and Halo players don’t seem to find the game enjoyable.

Doom was the breakthrough game of 1993. It influenced many FPS games to come. The intense gore and balance of action and exploration kept the game being talked about for years. Our authorities find the game to be creepy, atmospheric, with a sense of impending dread that seems to always be just around the corner. “There couldn’t have been a better name for the game.” – IGN.
But unlike the authorities, we sort of rated the game poorly. This game was good then, but now it’s nothing special. The remake that’s coming to next gen consoles could possible change our opinion in the future (HOPEFULLY).

Overall…
All of these games have their own ups and downs. There isn’t ONE perfect game. Everyone has
their own opinion and those opinions aren’t always the same. There can’t ever be one EXACT rating of a
game. So, none of this could ever be accurate. In the end, games have their own personality and could
either change a gamer’s life forever or it could pee in their cereal.
