Abstract

The abstract should be up to 150 words in length, justified and in italicized text, in Times New Roman 10-point character. Two empty lines separate the abstract from the first section of the paper.

1. Introduction

Every paragraph in the main text is indented (0.43cm) and fully justified. The main text is in 10-points Times New Roman character. Each section’s title is left indented with a boldface 12-point Times New Roman character. Capitalize each initial letter of each word in the title.

2. Background

The second and following pages should begin 2.54 cm from the top edge. On all pages, the bottom margin should be 2.86 cm from the bottom edge of the page for 8.5 x 11-inch paper; for A4 paper, approximately 1-5/8 inches (4.13 cm) from the bottom edge of the page.

3. Main Title

The main title (on the first page) should begin 1-3/8 inches (3.49 cm) from the top edge of the page, centered, and in Times 14-point, boldface type. Capitalize the first letter of nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs; do not capitalize articles, coordinate conjunctions, or prepositions (unless the title begins with such a word). Leave two 12-point blank lines after the title.

4. Authors Names and Affiliations

Author names and affiliations are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Time New Roman 12-point, non-boldface. Multiple authors may be shown

in a two- or three-column format, with their affiliations italicized and centered below their respective names. Include e-mail addresses if possible. Author information should be followed by two 12-point blank lines.

5. Second and Following Pages

The second and following pages should begin 1.0 inch (2.54 cm) from the top edge. On all pages, the bottom margin should be 1-1/8 inches (2.86 cm) from the bottom edge of the page for 8.5 x 11-inch paper; for A4 paper, approximately 1-5/8 inches (4.13 cm) from the bottom edge of the page.

6. Main Text

The main text is 10-point Times New Roman, single-spaced. Please do not place any additional blank lines between paragraphs.

Figure and table captions should be 10-point boldface Times New Roman. Callouts should be 9-point non-boldface Times New Roman. For example: “Figure 1. Data Scatterplot”, “Table 1. Descriptive Statistics”. Please center figure captions below the figures. Table titles are to be centered above the tables.

7. Headings

Second and third order headings formatting description follows.

7.1. Second-order Headings

Second-order headings are Times New Roman 11-point boldface, initially capitalized, left justified, with one blank line before, and one after.

7.1.1. Third-order Headings. Third-order headings are formatted as this heading, text follows the title on the same line after a period. Use 10-point Times New

Roman, boldface, initially capitalized, left justified, preceded by one blank line.

8. Footnotes

Footnotes should be placed at the bottom of the column on the page on which they are referenced. Use Times New Roman 8-point type, single-spaced.

References

All the bibliographical references should be listed in 9-point Times New Roman, single-spaced section at the end of the paper.
