The Children and young people panel –The Story so far………….
The Panel was set up 7 years ago Set up by Children and Young People who
were coming into Hospital on a regular basis, facilitated by Liaison Nurse.
Aims of Panel…….to give Children and Young People in Hospital the opportunity to get their voices heard on issues that effect them.

The story so far………
Commitment of facilitator was to “LISTEN” to what Children were saying about Issues affecting them in Hospital, then support Children to Raise those Issues through Management structure.
The opportunity to participate and be listened to is a fundamental right under the United Nations Convention Rights of the Child.
