Purpose:• Undertake research• Produce guidelines• Coordinate international involvement
Austroads international activities
Manages Australia’s involvement with World Road Association on behalf of national government
Maintains collaboration agreements with similar organisations eg AASHTO
Organises study tours Provides secretariat for Australian
Chapter of REAAA
Australian + New Zealand national committee
In 2012 enter into MoU with WRA to be recognised as the National Committee for Australia and New Zealand
New Zealand and Australia are both independently members of WRA

Supports 50% of TC rep travel costs
Distributes information from technical committees to Australian and NZ road agencies and available on Austroads website
Include information on WRA activities in regular newsletters
