ü350 BULLS SOLD ANNUALLY

üX 2 ON PROPERTY SALES & 1 QLD AUCTION

üBULLS SOLD FOR PRIVATE TREATY

üCONTRACT BREEDING

Irelands Angus is located in the Kyeamba Valley, Southern NSW. We run 1100 stud and commercial breeding females. We are a family owned and operated business, that has been breeding stud Angus Cattle for nearly 30 years. Selecting on the basis of conformation, structure, growth, fertility and generations of sound genetics, it is our belief that strength of genetics will determine the consistency of the progeny. “The key component to adding profitability to our clients programs”.

Irelands market around 350 bulls per year via two On Property auction sales (Autumn and Spring) and once a year into a Spring QLD auction at Barcaldine. This is our 3rd year selling at the sale and we are 100% committed to this ongoing event.

The majority of our bulls are sold by private treaty and by contract breeding.Semen and embryo packages are also available and we do sell females privately by enquiry.

Since 1984 we have selected sires from cow families that are genetically strong and consistent for several generations. Theses sires have been from USA, Canada, NZ and in more recent years, home bred.It is paramount that we provide value for money. We are committed to breeding bulls that are affordable for every budget.

We believe, the true test of our breeding philosophy lies in the ability to test and mea-sure genetics, under commercial conditions and have them perform favorably for their clients in their target markets.

KWRED ANGUSSENEPOL

KW Red Angus Senepol – Structurally sound, Highly fertile bulls for the north

K.W. Red Angus Senepol bulls have made a dramatic impact in Northern Australia. Composite heifers by KW Red Angus bulls out of a draft of 400 heifers, averaged 39kg more than their counterparts and when kilo-grams equal dollars, this differ-ence certainly adds up.

In mixed mating astute cattle-men are amazed at the number of calves by KW Bulls. “They sure have libido”.

They comment on the ability for heifers to join at an early age. Also the growth rates that hit premium markets “younger and heavier”

This emphasizes the Red Angus Senepol reputation in excellence for fertility, carcase quality and docility in diverse environmental conditions

We are proud to offer and show case 20 powerful Red Angus and Senegus bulls for the Aus-tralian Topstock Charleville bull sale, which are fully loaded with the fantastic KW genetics. And following the success KW Red Angus Senepol saw in 2012, with 100% clearance of all sale bulls you can be sure you are buying a proven product.

KW Red Angus Senepol breeds over 200 bulls per year, with bulls available all year round.

NindooinbahAngus Ultrablack Brangus

NindooinbahAngus Ultrablack Brangus

www.nindooinbah.com.au

Nindooinbah is excited to be offering 14 Bulls at the Barcaldine Topstock Bull Sale on the 3rd March 2014.

Nindooinbah is home to the Australian Ultrablack. The 6 Ultrablack’s on offer are a tremendous example of the Ultrablack type. These bulls are now working in all states (except WA and Tasmania) with very promising results. These bulls get calves. Sleek coated with hybrid vigor while carrying the attributes the Angus breed is renowned.

We are also offering 8 first cross Brangus bulls, bringing some of the finest genetics for profitability from the Angus and Brahman breeds. The 2 Brahman sires used have outstanding fertility and carcass traits with the sire of 6 of these Brangus lots, CBE BEL050390, being in the top 1% for Days to calving (-7.5), scrotal size and both export and domestic index. Both bulls are listed as polled but Esto is homozygous polled. These bulls have the adaptation to work in most environments.

At Nindooinbah, we performance record all animals on Angus Australia MBR as well as measure temperament, coat type and structure. Our philosophy is simple - “You cannot manage what is not measured”. We have 2 tight calvings a year and all progeny are run in large contempory groups (200+hd) until their 400 day carcass scan.

NOTE: When comparing MBR EBV’s, it is important to look at the figures within breed percentage only and not compare across breed percentages.

We look forward to seeing you at the sale!

Banquet bulls will add length and width to your calves. Therefore more weight and more dollars.

“These bulls have been selected especially for the conditions in Central Queensland. They have fine hair and soft skins to help acclimatise.

More bone, stronger heads and deeper bodies mean they are superior for crossing over both Bos Indicus and Bos Taurus cows.

Structural soundness results in more calves for more years.”

BIGboldbanquetThe Watasanta Stud Tamworth New South Wales was established in 1985, owned and operated by Neil &

Rosalie Watson and their children. It is based on a broad genetic base of polled breeders.

Our aim: to produce what is demanded by the commercial cattle breeder.

Bulls that are high weight gainers, tidy sheath and fertile, with good carcase shape and poll genetics. The bulls must be easy to finish with eye appeal not just on sale day but as weaners, yearlings and as two year olds.

Sires only the very best sires are used. We single sire join our females.

Bulls introduced to the stud must be trait leaders and have good measurements for weight-gain, eye mus-cle area and testicular size. The bulls must have good disposition, slick coats and easy doers.

Recent bulls introduced include top priced sires in Waco Odyssey (P) $27,500, Canowindra “In the Grove” $32,000 and Waco Chancellor (PS) for $36,000 purchased in 2013. Good sires are an investment not an expense. Many home breed sires are proving to be breeding very well.

EXPORTSWatasanta has exported genetic and bulls which include USA, New Zealand and New Caledonia.

BULLS AT WORK IN QUEENSLANDWatasanta bulls are currently successfully performing all over the eastern states of Australia, particularly Queensland. These include, Blackall, Biloela, Emerald, Hughenden, Ipswich, Quilpie, Longreach, Muttabur-ra, Roma and Winton.

We are committed to continuing to supply outstanding bulls to these breeders, both Santa Gertrudis and Black Santas through our on property sale at Tamworth in August and at auction in our Queensland Sale.

BLACK SANTASDeveloped in the early 90’s by Mr Rob McKinlay “Austral Park” Arcadia Valley Queensland. Neil and Ro-salie got the opportunity to acquire some of the best yearling heifers and the pick of the black poll Santa sires, when the property and the breeding herd was sold, hence their commencement of Watsanta Black-santas.

These cattle have been run and operated purely as a top end commercial herd with seed stock breeding principles applied.

The black poll Santa was bred from putting black Santa bulls over black Santa females for nearly 20 years, originally from a Santa- Angus cross. They combine the best attributes of both breeds - the dominate black and poll genes of the Angus and good skin type, weight gain and hardiness of the Santa Gertrudis.
