Choose a Visa Category to applyTo apply for PR visa there are two main visa categories, i.e. Sponsored Visa (Subclass 190, 186, etc.) and Non Sponsored Visa (Subclass 189), etc.
If you choose to apply for Subclass 189 visa you don’t have to get the sponsorship from Australian employer, State or Territory.
Gather the essential Documents
To apply for point based permanent visa in Australia, you need to get the essential documents ready, i.e.
English Proficiency Test Result with good score (i.e. IELTS)
Skill Assessment Report by a recognized assessing authority
Apply online in Skill SelectOnce you have gathered the documents, apply online in Skill Select and submit EOI (Expression of Interest). Your Profile will be given the points based on age, education, experience, etc. factors.
You need score minimum 60 points. Higher score will increase your chances.
Get Selected for Invitation to Apply for visa
If your profile is selected through the system, you will get invitation to apply for PR visa.
Apply for the same within 60 days of the receipt of invite.
