PTA Weekly Highlights

Show your Mustang Pride and support Team IPEF at McCarty vs. Steck

Night at the Fox Valley Center Chick-Fil-A from 4-8 Wednesday, October 14.

Please join the McCarty Elementary PTA in the gym at 7:00 as we recognize the hard

work of the McCarty students for this year’s annual fundraiser. Students will receive

their awards at the event. Those unable to attend will have their awards sent home

via backpack mail.

Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the PTA once

you select McCarty PTA as your preferred organization. It’s easy—sign up here!

The 3rd Grade room party has been moved to Friday, October 23rd.

Labels for the first Labels for Education drive of the year will be accepted until Thurs-

day, Oct. 29. To submit, please place them in an envelope/baggie labeled with your

child’s teacher and drop them off in the office or send to school with your child. As

an incentive, the class with the most points collected will win a prize! Please, do

not put Box Tops in with the Labels for Education. These programs are run by differ-

ent individuals and mixing those items causes things to be lost or bonus opportunities

to be missed. Please see the list of participating products here. To assist with the

submission process, please do your best to cut out the ENTIRE PRODUCT UPC, not

just the point value or vice versa.

Winter Wonderland (November) - Host our McCarty Marketplace where parents and

students can sell their crafts, sweets, or various products (i.e. 31, Origami Owl, Pam-

pered Chef, Tastefully Simple, etc.). Breakfast with Frosty is also offered in the MPR.

There will be a silent auction in the marketplace offering a variety of items, including

special reserved seats for music programs. If you are interested in chairing this

Family Movie Night (December) - A fun family night where a movie is played in the

gym. Popcorn is served in the MPR during intermission. If you are interested in
