PracticePractice• Important time to display ability & improve

skills• Bring all needed equipment

– Water, clothes, shoes, kneepads• Absences (excused or unexcused) will result

in reduction of playing time (# missed = # games on the bench)

• Tardiness will result in extra running– 2 Laps for every minute late

Pre-Game ExpectationsPre-Game Expectations• Net teams will be assigned to set up and tear

down the net for home games• All players must be dressed and ready to go at

the specified time for away games or they will be left behind

During Game ExpectationsDuring Game Expectations

• Varsity will shag balls during JV warm-up• Varsity will be in the bleachers cheering for JV

– No cell phones or iPods

• JV will not be permitted to change or enter the locker room between games

Post-Game Post-Game ExpectationsExpectations• Varsity will meet directly after the game

for post-game discussion

• All trash must be collected from the bleachers

• Parents – if there are specific concerns about the game, please set up a meeting

Travel ExpectationsTravel Expectations• Every player is expected to ride to and

from games on the bus

• A player may leave a game early if– A request has been made and approved a

day in advance– There is an emergency situation– They are leaving with their parent/guardian

Playing TimePlaying Time• Playing time in determined by the coach.

Any questions or concerns should be discussed with the coach by appointment.

Discipline & Discipline & SuspensionSuspension• Every player is expected to meet all of the

previous expectations and conduct themselves in a sportsman like manner at all times

• Any player breaking rules or expectations will be suspended from matches or possibly be suspended from the team

• Any player missing three practices unexcused will be suspended from the team

Booster ClubBooster Club• The Booster Club purchased

– Net– Ball Cart– Antennas

• Brenda Worth is our team mom and will need help with football game concession stand.

Team MealsTeam Meals

• Team meals will take place every Monday in the cafeteria. A sign up sheet is being passed around. Please sign up for one Monday and coordinate with the other parents.
